Golden Senior Santa Program

Information for 2017:

We are pleased to announce that we are participating in the Golden Senior Santa program that provides holiday gifts to senior citizens who have financial or health challenges and often do not have family nearby. This gives us a chance to brighten the holidays of a group in our community who are sometimes overlooked and forgotten during this time of year.

If you would like to participate in the program by providing gifts for one of the seniors:

-We have the gift tags on our tree at the counter.

-The tag will list the first name of the recipient, along with their “wish list” item(s). In general, gifts are in the $25 to $50 range. In addition, items like puzzle books, playing cards, postage stamps and gift cards to Safeway or King Soopers are always welcome.

-Please return the gifts – unwrapped – to Windy Saddle by Wednesday, December 13^th. The Senior Santa Elves will pick them up, arrange for wrapping and then make sure they’re distributed before Christmas.

We know there are many charitable causes throughout the year, and everyone needs to make their own decision about which ones to support. We very much appreciate your consideration of this worthwhile cause and the potential to make a difference in the lives and holiday cheer of a group of local seniors.
